Year 1 Teaching Assistant Bonnie Li shares an overview of the successful 'Chinese for All' programme.

Students are listening and presenting and building on their vocabulary bank. Students pull key words from stories and participate in story re-telling. In addition, students learn to rewrite stories in different ways: changing the main characters, setting and adding more adjectives to enrich the story.

学生们积极参与课堂讨论,气氛活跃,在老师的指导下能根据关键词去复述所听故事。除此以外,他们还学习如何改写故事,如改写原故事的主要角色,场景等并使用形容词让 故事更具趣味性,学生们最喜欢的部分就是听老师编造关于动物与生态环境之类的故事。

Students in the intermediate phase are learning useful vocabulary and phrases. This helps students to further connect with their host country. Students are enjoying creating simple dialogs.

At beginner level students learn useful vocabulary and find out about their host country. Presently, students are learning vocabulary about the weather.

中级班的学生能理解基础词汇以及准确复述词汇,可以进行一些简单的对话,课堂气氛良好。
