EXPANDED METALS
Expanded metal is a rigid non raveling piece of metal that has been slit and expanded
(drawn). In the process, metal can be expanded 10 times its original size and loosened
up to 80% of its weight hence making it sstronger and more rigid.
MESH SIZE AND SPECIFICATIONS
The size and dimensions of the various expanded metals we manufacture are given in the table
shown below. It is conventional practice when ordering to state the SWM(short way mesh) size,
the strand thickness and the strand width.The standard sheet size is 8ft.X4ft but special length
and width can be manufactured on request.Expanded metals can also be supplied in rolls.
