Australian Aboriginal & Torres
Strait Islander student support
The University employs full-time Indigenous
Support Officers (ISSOs) to assist Australian
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
with academic, financial and mentoring support.
Scholarships and bursaries are available. Other
resources include the Indigenous Tutorial
Assistance Scheme (ITAS) and the national
Indigenous Cadetship Scheme (ICS), providing
supplementary wages and work experience.
