The James C . Grimm chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary ( NRHH ) is currently rebranding to match new materials and guidelines from the international level . From June 22 – 17 , 2016 , two members of the NRHH Executive Board travelled with a delegation to the University of Delaware to represent the University of Florida at NACURH – the international conference for student leaders within housing .
At the NRHH Corporate Boardroom session , the NACURH Associate for NRHH presented new branding materials . These included a new logo design and a switch from the four traditional pillars to three values : leadership , service , and recognition .

The Staff Advisory Board ( SAB ) is an organization designed to serve Resident Assistants ( RAs ) in the areas of program funding , social opportunity , and advocacy .
SAB sets aside a portion of our budget every year for RAs to request funds to bolster their pre-existing program funding . These requests are made at our biweekly general body meetings . It is during these general body meetings that RAs from all across campus can come together to get to know one another , discuss pertinent issues , and learn about the goals towards which SAB is working as well as celebrate the accomplishment of fellow RAs .
At each general body meeting , we set aside time during which RAs can raise any concerns they may have . In the past , RAs have advocated for parking for RAs , changes in desk hours , etc . The Staff Advisory Board is an organization by Resident Assistants , for Resident Assistants .

While scholarship is no longer explicitly outlined as one of the values , it is understood that high scholastic achievement should be part of the foundation for membership and upheld as part of leadership .
Post-conference , the NRHH Executive Board is currently working to implement and adapt these changes to fit our chapter . Within the coming weeks , our website and social media accounts will be updated to reflect the new materials . We are in the process of creating a new t-shirt design and restructuring our plans and ideas for the year by sorting them into the three values . Our goal is to emphasize the importance of leadership , service , and recognition by preemptively building our curriculum and expectations around them .
NRHH is looking forward to a year of change , and if you have any ideas that you think may help , please feel free to contact : NRHH President , Lena Schwallenberg NRHHPresident @ housing . ufl . edu
