Lt General ( Pilot ) ret . Geroulis Georgios was born on 18 -06 – 1958 . He has been awarded many Hellenic & foreign medals and decorations and Honor Distinctions by Chief of Hellenic Joint Forces Staff , Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff and USA / MOD for his special academic , scientific & professional performances in certain activities . He graduated from Hellenic Air Force Academy in 1980 and served in Air Force as an officer and fighter pilot - pilot instructor and academic instructor for 35 years . Throughout his career , he has served in all authorized command echelons as staff officer , team leader , section chief , department director , fighter Sqn and wing commander and in higher echelons of Air Force Staff , Joint Staff and NATO . His professional knowledge ( MA , MSc , MPhil , PhD in the strategic and scientific fields ), his involvement in research Institutes , Military and Technical Universities and his long participation in NATO ( national representative ) in strategic , defense planning , e . t . c . consist an additional capability to fulfill any IO & AD operational task . Since 2011 is working as visiting Prof in postgraduate programs with Technical University and Military Academies , manager in Green projects in the private sector . He is president of HAF officers ’ Cooperative since 2016 , Vice president of Academy for Strategic Analyses , Vice President of Cultural Center of Athens for UNESCO , member of AIAAA , IISS / London , AOC , Hellenic Air Academy , HELINAAS , and other nonprofit organizations . The main goal of this presentation is the real knowledge and a clear understanding , by the audience , of the variable dilemmas which UAS ' s designers & producers are facing today , through their effort to establish acceptable and safe solid comditions , rules , procedures and methodologies which obligatory prior to enhance UAS in the modern life of the international community , preventing in parallel sensitive issues like human rights , national security and air defense .
