DR. MICHAEL J. BIRRER, M.D., PH.D.
In August 2017, Dr. Michael J. Birrer took over the reins as director of the UAB
Comprehensive Cancer Center. He comes to UAB from Harvard Medical School
where he was a Professor of Medicine and the director of Gynecologic Medical
Oncology and the Gynecological Oncology Research Program at Massachusetts
General Hospital.
