Women & Infants Center
The UAB Women & Infants Center is a
400,000-square-foot, world-class health
care facility dedicated solely to the care of
women and infants. From inpatient surgical
care to routine outpatient office visits, the
UAB Women & Infants Center provides
complete care for mother and baby under
one roof. The state-of-the-art facility offers
a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere
and expert medical staff. UAB is the
only hospital in the state where high-risk
maternal and fetal physicians are available
in-house 24 hours a day, every day
of the year.

Children’s of Alabama
Children’s of Alabama has provided
specialized medical care for ill and injured
children across the state and throughout
the southeastern United States since 1911.
For the past four years, Children’s has
been ranked among the best children’s
hospital programs in the nation by U.S.
News & World Report. With more than 2
million square feet, it is the third-largest
pediatric medical facility in the nation
and the only medical center in Alabama
dedicated solely to the care and treatment
of children.
