The Patient and Family Advisory Council is
dedicated to the improvement of quality in
patient and family care at UAB Callahan Eye
Hospital. The council is comprised of previous
and current patients, families, and hospital staff,
and meets regularly to discuss current hospital
programs and projects. Patients and their
families offer unique perspectives and valuable
feedback regarding the standard of care they
