tyddynmon.co.uk Lunch by the fire Christmas Holidays On the 6th of November trainees and staff enjoyed lunch around a campfire in the woods to mark bonfire night. The lunch consisted of burgers and potatoes which were cooked on the campfire along with toasted marshmallows, which were enjoyed by everyone despite the cold weather. The farm will close to trainees and staff on Friday the 19th of December and not the 23rd as has been previously stated, and will re-open on Monday the 5th of January 2015. New Car Trainees gather around the campfire Phil and Drew toasting marshmallows on the fire Winter Fair Tyddyn Môn have recently acquired a new car, a Citroen C4 has replaced the Mitsubishi Touran 4x4 which will now be used as a farm vehicle. The Citroen will be used to mainly transport some of the trainees to and from the farm each day. Due to time constraints this year’s winter fair which was due to take place on November the 22nd has unfortunately had to be cancelled. We apologise to anyone that had made plans to attend the event. Changes to Cafe From the beginning of December local catering company Sochyn Crimp will be taking over the cafe at Tyddyn Môn. As part of the change the company will be changing the interior design on the cafe, which will be themed as a ‘vintage’ design, and will offer a number of new products that were not previously available the cafe. The company will also be responsible for 3 the holding and organising of children’s birthday parties on the farm. The cafe will be open from the 8th of December.
