I am a licensed makeup artist with over a decade of experience specializing in bridal makeup . I provide on-location services for Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas . My work has been printed in magazines both locally and internationally .
I began my career with a prestigious makeup company where I received endless amounts of training in application , sanitation , product knowledge , and customer service . In order to focus solely on artistry , five years ago I stepped away from retail . Then to stay on top of the ever evolving beauty industry , I pursued additional education obtaining my aesthetics license from Mario Tricoci in August 2015 .
Some advice that I would give to brides when choosing their makeup artist for their big day is :
• Don ' t wait to book your makeup artist . Top artists , especially in this area , are now booking a year to 18 months ahead of time for prime dates .
• Research - Make sure that your artist is licensed . Not only is it the law in Indiana , but it ensures proper sanitation techniques and a dedicated artist .
• Ask for referrals . Social media groups are a great way to reach out if you don ' t know any recent brides .
• Have a trial application with your chosen artist . This will make your wedding day less stressful , guarantee you the look you are going for , and put your bridal party at ease if they are on the fence about getting their makeup done .
I stand apart from other artists because of my eye for colormatching to skin and attention to every detail including listening closely to what my clients want . Having worked closely with photographers , I also know how the makeup will transfer through the lens for the most beautiful pictures possible . I have touched 1000 + faces and believe no two are the same . I will ensure that no matter what makeup look you have always envisioned becomes reality on your special day .
