The Hellenic Cultural Center is located at 8000 Madison Street , Merrillville , Indiana . Just west of Broadway / I-65 and 1 block north of Route 30 . Serving the community for 35 plus years .
As you enter the large lobby you will notice it is perfect for family photos , a photo booth , or just conversing with family and friends . Adjacent to the lobby is a “ bride ’ s room ." A “ hideaway ” for the bride to freshen up or just take a quiet moment to relax and reflect .
There are 2 banquet rooms available . The large room called the Great Hall can accommodate up to 500 guests . It has a permanent large dance floor and stage for DJ ’ s or bands . Chandeliers that dim for elegant lighting . The smaller room called the Gold Room can accommodate up to 80 guests . It ’ s a cozy gathering place for an intimate reception , engagement party , rehearsal dinner or bridal shower . A full-service bar is adjacent to each hall . We take pride in only hosting one event at a time , giving you all our attention on your special day .
We offer a variety of menu options designed to fit any budget . Ample on-site parking , including many handicap parking spaces for our guests with special needs . Our facility is ground floor level and wheelchair accessible .
When selecting your venue not only is food , location and ambiance important you must have a “ go to ” person available during your event . Here at the Hellenic Cultural Center , our event coordinator is at your event before it starts until after dinner is served . Making sure all your needs are met .
