It was a pleasure working with both Tori and Monty. They are as beautiful on the inside
as they are on the outside. Lake Michigan has always been a special part of Tori and
Monty's life. They met at a grocery store in South Haven. Monty proposed to Tori at
a family home “Dunehaven” in Covert, Michigan. They always knew they would get
married at the lake. With that theme in mind they chose the Pavilion in St Joe for
the ceremony and the Shadowland Ballroom was the perfect site for the reception.
They made unique choices like bleached mazanita which looks like driftwood to be
incorporated throughout the venue. Vintage hobnail and the soft aqua blue glass pared
with soft whites, yellow dahlias and green cymbidiums and hydrangea helped to soften
the space and complete the relaxed beach vibe reception they were looking for.
Everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunshine filled day watching Tori and Monty marry as
boats sailed by. Later there was dining, dancing and eating gelato with family and
friends – the perfect start to a beautiful life together.
