She had chosen the barn at the Patchwork Quilt Country Inn in Middlebury for her reception, and the ceremony was held outside in the field. Ashley was very easy-going and a pleasure to work with. She chose a hand-tied bouquet of pastel summer flowers, including delphinium, stock, hydrangea, astilbe, and baby’s breath. Her bridesmaids carried nosegays of all baby’s breath. Each reception table held a brown beer growler with a few stems of the same flowers. Ashley and Caleb brought a personal touch to all aspects of their wedding. Between brewing their own craft beer for the reception, to the handmade bunting they were married under, to the cakes at each table baked by family members, the day was a true celebration of their style and the things they love.
