Satisfy Your Summer Sweet Tooth: Lemon Bars Recipe

Looking for the perfect dessert to enjoy this summer? Look no further! These lemon squares will satisfy your sweet tooth and leave you feeling refreshed.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (64 g) of powdered sugar

2 cups and 6 tablespoons (304 g) flour

A pinch of salt

1 cup (128 g) of room temperature butter

4 eggs

2 cups (256 g) of sugar

6 tablespoons (48 g) of lemon juice

Instructions:

Be sure to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and lightly grease a pan. Now, blend a half-cup of powdered sugar, two cups of flour, and a pinch of salt together in a bowl. Add one cup of butter (softened at room temperature) into the mixture and continue blending until the batter gets crumbly. Press the batter into the greased pan and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, in another bowl, beat four eggs, two cups of sugar, six tablespoons of flour, and six tablespoons of lemon juice together until they are all well combined. Pour this mixture on top of the crumbly crust that has been baking in the oven, and let it bake for 25 more minutes. Once the baking is done, let it completely cool before sprinkling some powdered sugar on top and cutting it into squares! Now, all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy this delicious treat.
