BIODEX ASSESSMENTS
Concussion Baseline Testing
You’ve suffered a concussion. How do you know when it’s safe
to resume activates without putting yourself at risk to further
damage? The Biodex Concussion Baseline Testing uses the
Biodex Balance System SD to establish a baseline reading
(pre-concussion) through a quick and easy series of tests to
be used in the event you suffer a concussion. Re-testing (post
injury) allows the opportunity to compare current numbers to
the baseline results to track your recovery.

Fall Assessment Screening
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention and the National Council on Aging:
1 in 4 Americans over the age of 65 will fall this year
Every 11 seconds, an older adult is treated in the ER for a fall
Every 19 seconds, an older adult, dies from a fall
While no system/testing can prevent fall completely, the Biodex
Fall Assessment Screening will provide you with an analysis
of your current risk of falling based upon testing your lower
body’s ability to stabilize itself. The test only takes 10 minutes to
complete. Once completed, your score will be compared with a
database sample and it will indicate how your score compares to
others in your age group. By appointment only.
