Rosh Chodesh Rosh Chodesh Iyar Did you know that Jews have a way of commemorating the new moon each month?! Rosh Chodesh means “head of the month” in Hebrew. While Rosh Chodesh is traditionally considered a women’s holiday, all are invited to participate in The J’s monthly, themed, and egalitarian Rosh Chodesh activities.
