Films To Remember: A Film Appreciation Course Mondays, February 19 & May 14, 1 – 3 pm
Microsoft Windows course teaches the functions of the keys and
the mouse. These are used extensively in computer work, but
what they do is not fully understood by novice users. With minimal
practice, students will be prepared to participate in our next course.

course. We will dig beyond just the appearances and look at
how movie magic is made. Genie Joseph is an award-winning
film director, and was Co-Producer for the TV series “The N”,
on Nickelodeon. She was the CEO of Hawaii Movie Studios
and has worked on over 200 films and TV programs in various
capacities.

A Profound New Vision of Growing Older. The facilitator,

how-tos for working in older and newer systems. You may bring
your laptop to see how class lessons apply to your machine.

Chiricahua Mountains, Massai Point and
Pinery Canyon Study Tour
Sunday, March 11, 8 am – 8 pm
Join us on a visit to one of the most scenic and spectacular areas
of southeast Arizona, where we drive along the Bonita Canyon
Highway from historic Faraway Ranch to the pine forested Massai
Point (7000 feet). We will also visit the towns of Paradise and
Portal. Short hikes included. Meet at The J parking lot at 7:30
am. Bring lunch, snacks, water and sun protection and wear
good hiking shoes/boots. We’ll stop for dinner on the return
(not included in registration fee). William Ascarza is an archivist,
historian and author of seven books about the southwest.

Sunday, March 18, 9 am - 1 pm
Learn basic first aid to help victims while waiting for
professional help, as well as techniques to immediately treat
injured people so that they are more likely to fully recuperate
after being assessed and treated professionally. Topics
include: fractures, poisoning, burns, shock and heat stroke,
as well as the new continuous CPR method.
