UKF Stainless Ltd are delighted to have hosted the Made in the Midlands Breakfast
Networking event on Thursday 17th August 2017 – the ‘sold out’ open day was a
resounding success – providing a thoroughly enjoyable experience whilst demonstrating
the market leading facilities at UKF Stainless Ltd.
UKF Stainless Ltd are a proud member of the
Made in the Midlands family and were only
too pleased to be able to open their doors. Phil
Morris, Chairman, kicked off the event with a
brief history of the company heritage and an
introduction to their state of the art services
and facilities. The UKF team all introduced
themselves giving further insight into the
professional team behind this successful
company. UKF and their laser services rise above the
competition with their ability to provide maximum
efficiency. They can reduce machining time by
70%. Their laser cutter is equipped with a versatile
and advanced IPG fiber laser that is capable of
processing mild steel, as well as specialised materials
such as aluminium, stainless, copper, and brass.
The programming software Artube amplifies the
productivity potential of the machine, whilst offering
state of the art specialist precision cutting.
Attendees were treated to a tour of the extensive
factories, followed by live demonstrations of
the perforators and laser machines in action.
The hardworking staff were seen at their best
demonstrating the impressive machinery to its full
advantage. This was an extremely informative and
entertaining experience for everyone involved. UKF is proud to hold one of the UK’s most complete
stocks of welded stainless-steel tube. This includes
bars, sections, sheet and plate to complete an
extensive product offering, with additional products
also supplied on quick lead times, if required.
