Key Appointments at Superior
Tube to Further Strengthen its
Operational Excellence
Superior Tube, part of AMETEK Specialty Metal Products
and leading manufacturer of small diameter tubing is
delighted to announce several key appointments.
Superior Tube is committed to the recruitment
and development of people who share its
passion for industry-leading operational
excellence and customer service. Renowned
for its high-quality tubing in a wide range of
stainless steel, nickel, titanium and zirconium
alloys, Superior Tube supplies tubing for the
most critical applications in the aerospace,
energy, medical and offshore industry.
William (Bill) Scilingo, Plant Manager, based at
Superior Tube’s facility in Collegeville, Pennsylvania
is responsible for all aspects of the plant’s day-to-
day management. Bill will also be playing a key role
as part of the AMETEK Specialty Metal Products’
leadership team. He is a dedicated operations
professional with over 25 years of experience in the
metals industry as well as over 20 years of experience
in leadership and management roles in the medical,
industrial, and automotive markets. Passionate
about employee safety and staff development, Bill
has a proven history of leading improved business
performance and operational efficiency by bringing
teams together through a common vision.
Mark Heuberger, Manufacturing Engineering
Manager, has returned to Superior Tube in the
newly created role of Manufacturing Engineering
Manager. He is a materials science and engineering
professional with over 10 years of experience in
metallurgy and has a key role in further enhancing
product quality to better serve existing customers
and increase market share.
Scott Bussinger, Quality Manager, has the
responsibility for all aspects of quality management
at Superior Tube. With over 30 years of experience
in quality management, including leadership
and management role. He has a proven record
of developing Quality programs with a focus on
customer satisfaction, supplier development and
qualification as well as the continuous improvement
of processes, practices and products.
Hassan Raid, EH&S Manager. As Superior Tube’s
Environmental Health & Safety Manager, Hassan’s
focus is on the development of a behavioral-
based safety culture. He joins the company from
a global device manufacturer bringing more than
20 years of successful experience building safety
and environmental programs in manufacturing
environments to the table.
Eric Lentz, Operations Manager, has the overall
responsibility for the operations function at Superior
Tube in Collegeville. He joins Superior Tube coming
from a global leader in sustainable technologies. With Tamer Elbably, Planning Supervisor, is working
over 15 years of experience as operations manager
to further increase Superior Tube’s customer
and site leader roles in the metals industry he has
satisfaction by focusing on the efficiencies of
demonstrated a commitment to staff development
production planning and routing. Joining Superior
