with brushless drives motors.

suitable for our bending machines and also for most

first, accurate part can be measured in single-digit
minutes for standard tubes with 90mm diameters.
An actual example comes from a t bend machine that
bends counterclockwise and and clockwise, for the
production of tubes with diameters of up to 30mm.
In this case the operator can set up the tools for the
left and right production areas in just three minutes.
This achieves the objective of high and reliable
flexibility and minimization of the set-up time.

The Chinese iron and steel producer Guangdong
Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Company Ltd.
has placed an order with Friedrich KOCKS
GmbH & Co KG, Hilden, Germany, for the supply
of a RSB® 300++/4 in 5.0 design.
Guangdong Shaoguan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (formerly
known as Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.)
operates as a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group
Corporation Limited and was founded in 1966. The
state-owned company manufactures and markets
iron and steel products worldwide with an annual
production of 6.8 Mio. Tonnage.
The RSB® 300++/4 will be a part of a brand new
combined wire rod and BIC line in Shaoguan and will
operate as finishing unit for the production of BIC
within a dimensional range from Ø 15.0 up to Ø 50.0
mm and supplies as pre-finisher all feeders for the
wire rod line. Thanks to the remote control system,
size changes can apply within a billet gap and stand
changes can be done within max. five minutes due to
the advanced stand quick change design.

automation solutions about the 3-roll technology.
The commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2019.
