philosophy with the Prometheus Trust,
with whom he met once a week until
the week that he died. He is survived by
Elizabeth, his wife of 57 years, and their
two sons.
Richard Noel Robert Cross (F, 49-54):
died 25.2.2017. Son of ARC (F, 08-13),
brother of DAC (F, 45-50) and father

Commissioned into Highland Light
Infantry 1956. He went out of his way
to welcome the amalgamation with
the Royal Scottish Fusiliers to become
the Royal Highland Fusiliers. He was
ADC to GOC Aldershot 1959-60 and
accompanied the GOC on horseback
around the Command. He then served
in Aden and Malta and was ADC to
the Governor of Tasmania 1962-63.
