ZOO GOODIES Sticking Their Necks Out In June 2017, Service Systems Associates, Inc., our wonderful partner that oversees the tasty eateries and fantastic gift shops at the Zoo, hosted a Pan- cake Breakfast for World Giraffe Day with Louisville Zoo staff. All proceeds from those in attendance were donated to Giraffe Conservation Founda- tion (GCF). Chef John Bird, Sous Chef Ty Rudolph, and Derek McNair (HerpAquarium Keeper) cooked pancakes. Jacqui Dauphinais, Morgan Rost and Dawn Nelms served the pancakes. The event was coordinated by giraffe keeper Stephanie McNully. In total, $355 was raised for giraffe conservation during just one breakfast! Learn more about GCF at giraffeconservation.org. Make Your Halloween Experience GLOW!
