2017 Safari Day Camp T-Shirt Design Contest Calling all artists! Do you like to draw animals? The Lou- isville Zoo wants YOU to design the 2017 Summer Safari Day Camp t-shirt! The theme for the design is “Backyard Butterfl ies.” Check out LouisvilleZoo.org/education for contest details. Designs must be submitted by April 16 to be considered. Eligibility & Age Requirements: This contest is open to children ages 5 to 12. Children must have permission from a parent or guardian to enter. Rules: 2016 T-shirt Winner, Savannah Soeder (age 9) modeling her winning entry. 1. The theme for the design must be “Backyard Butterfl ies.” 2. The drawing may be done with crayons, markers or pen- cils but please only use three different colors. 3. The design should be drawn on 8.5 x 11 white paper as the design will appear on the front of a shirt. (Designs made with computer software are acceptable as well!) 4. By entering the contest, the submitter certifi es that the design is original and does not contain any copyright material. 5. Drawings will be judged by the staff of the Louisville Zoo based on originality, creativity and overall visual design. 6. Entries must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line “T-shirt Design Contest.” 7. Include parent or guardian’s name, child’s name, address, telephone number and age of child. 8. The winning design becomes property of the Louisville Zoo. Deadline for entries: Entries must be submitted by Sunday, April 16, 2017. Prizes: • The winner’s design will be featured on the 2017 Safari Day Camp t-shirt! • The families of the top three designs will each receive one FREE Safari Day Camp registration!
