All camps include Zoo walks, large animal presentations, attraction rides and up-close encounters with live Zoo ambassadors. Plus, our extended hours for parents continue through spring! Choose an option below based on your child’s grade level. Parents should provide a lunch and snack for their child each day. Campers can enjoy a wide range of exciting camp topics for every grade level including our weekly Teen Pre K – K: Growing up Wild Discover the world in your backyard as we investigate the life cycles of insects, plants and animals! Grade 1 – 3: Building Wonders Brick by Brick Back by popular demand! Campers will explore the art of building with LEGO® bricks while creating their own sculptures and discovering that nature has some builders of its own! Grade 4 – 6: Spring into Action The Louisville Zoo promotes conservation initiatives for animals around the World. Students will have an opportunity to utilize conservation skills and learn about the importance of saving these critical species. Tuesdays program (now featuring “TeensConnect” conservation action projects) and new specialty camps! Extended hours continue with a convenient carline drop-off service for parents.
