We’ll turn up the curiosity in this
camp that will encourage campers to use their
observation skills to learn about the world
around them. Animals must work to survive; to find
food and build a home, and to protect themselves
from other animals. Come and learn the ways animals
work (and work together) and observe animals at
work right here at the Zoo.

Wild Winter
Wildlife is everywhere – even in your own backyard.
In this camp, we’ll explore animals that don’t fly
south when the weather gets cold. Take a walk to the
wetlands trail to explore native wildlife, and learn how
animals in Kentucky adapt to the winter weather.
Grades 4 – 6
Survival Skills
Animals have amazing adaptations to help them
survive in the wild, but how would you do? In this
camp, we’ll learn about how animals adapt and learn
some survival skills of our own.
