“I can only imagine what it was like mounted on a prehistoric horse going faster
than any human ever had. From that day forward, horses became our
companions”, says Hansen, “they’ve helped us with the hunt and worked for us.
They even carried us into battle. They became our friends. We began to
experience each other in new and different ways. And in the end, we loved each
other”, he says.
