There is spring... and then there is spring in states like Montana & Wyoming. Don't overlook rainbow spawning as a great time to target these carnivorous beauties! After writing up this article I got out and stuck another great spring brown in that special Wyoming place. Certainly worthy of a last minute photo swap so there you have it. Picked up this one in thin riffles near a deep slow run which always surprises me but is all to comon an occurence in western tailwater. Photo: Mike Reinker
