Sublimation with a future, innovative and successful New building for Print Equipment: Ground-breaking ceremony for the modern office building with a large logistics center in Ottersweier. The construction kickoff for the new building was on April 4th, 2017, in the Brandeichenfeld-South industrial estate in Ottersweier. Free setup and free carriage on Pen Warehouse’s Electra Classic Ballpens The Pen Warehouse understand that promotional product distributors work with tight margins, so their new Electra Classic Ballpen and Electra Classic Satin Ballpen include free setup and free carriage. These are ideal promotional pens due to their attractive design, versatility and budget-friendly price point. The Electra Classic Ballpen has a vivid anodised finish available in a wide range of colours, perfect for matching a corporate identity, while the Electra Classic Satin Ballpen swaps the anodised coating for an appealing satin finish. Both can be spot colour printed to a generous branding area or laser engraved to reveal the aluminium base metal. Print Equipment is Europe’s leading wholesale company for customisable, printable gift and promotional items. A new building for the company is being built in Ottersweier, consisting of a four-story office building and a logistics center, a total of 8,000 sq m. There were no more expansion options at the current site, although several extensions had been built in previous years. The project was implemented mostly with partners from the region, with a total investment amount of 11 million euros. The estimated construction time is 12 months, and in March 2018, 70 current employees will move into the new building. This complete relocation is an investment in the Ottersweier region: This gratifying business development, as well as ambitious development goals for the coming years, according to CEO Mario Panter, required significant capacity expansion to meet growing demands. Throughout the construction, the CEO has consistently used state-of-the-art technology: The entire building solely uses a geothermal system for heating and cooling. A modern order picking system, supported with self-propelled robots ensures shorter cycle times for parcel shipping, and therefore, significantly higher shipping capacity, especially during the peak season. A 5,000 sq m photovoltaic system on the roof of the hall provides the required electricity. “The bottom line is that the building generates significantly more energy than it consumes,” concludes Panter.
