Afternoon visits Tashilungmpu monastery. The Tashilungpu monastery was inbuilt 1447 AD that is
known as one of the six major Monasteries of Gelukpa Sect. this is the biggest monastery in Tsang area
with a complete area of 3,00,000 sq. meters. The highlight of the monastery is that the gilt sculpture of
Maitreya Buddha made from copper with 22.4 meters high. It is thought of to be the very best sculpture
within the World. Tashilungpu monastery is that the seat of Panchen Lama.
