HOW DO YOU GET TO CARNEGIE HALL?
(AND WHAT DO YOU DO ONCE YOU GET THERE?)
A little background: Since it opened in 1891, Carnegie Hall has
become a mecca for live performance in a city that knows a thing
or two about staging a show. “Its legendary acoustics and stunning
architecture coupled with its reputation for presenting the most
extraordinary musicians has solidified its place in history as one of
the best concert halls in the world,” says Carnegie Hall’s Rayna
Bourke.
Other group experiences: During a visit, groups and FITs can take a
guided tour, go to the Rose Museum, and enjoy private receptions and
dining events. Docent-led tours cover the hall’s history and take guests
around the landmark building to the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage,
the museum and Composers Alley, which includes signed photographs
