The youth in the transformation in mind, body and spirit that cycling offers and it the community I see brings me joy when young people realize they are truly greater than they thought they were. When we wer kids it didn't matter that we were two states apart. Suepinda and I shared the fact that we didn’t have people in our community, outside of school, that were looking out for us and providing opportunities that surpassed our wildest dreams. Our guiding philosophy is that anyone, given the opportunity to explore, can accomplish all that they put their mind to. Youth and young adults will align their perspectives with what they see as their goal in life. Preparedness + Opportunity = Success. We are continually amazed by the youth in our programs and how they're able to rise above their expectations and see their world in a brighter and broader way. Spoke'n Revolutions Youth Cycling Spoke’n Revolutions began as a project to see if teens would welcome the opportunity to have an adventure through cycling. As adults we understood the health benefits of cycling but were unsure if distance cycling would prove to be too boring for youth today. It wasn’t. Triangle Bikeworks Annual Report | Page 4
