from 25 different countries. The ceremony itself took place in the historical courthouse where the famous Dred Scott vs Sanford case was heard, won, then lost again. We were fortunate enough to stand on the second balcony and watch as one by one, each person received a certificate with a great big smile on their face. * We brought the Bicycle Film Festival to North Carolina for the first time MT * Our youth presented at NC Bike Summit for the Spoke’n Revolutions program and Kidical Mass As it was getting dark I joined the rest of the group to watch the fireworks display. I have never seen something that great before. I was watching fireworks underneath the Arch of St. Louis! 201 3 Accomplishments * Our TBW youth were presenters at the 201 3 Youth Bike Summit in NYC * We held our 4th Kidical Mass event in Carrboro * Our youth were featured in Adventure Cycling's 201 3 calendar and graced the home page of Adventure Cycling's website * We held our 5th Kidical Mass event in conjunction with the NC Bike Summit * Our board members attended BCBS Foundation’s Healthy Community Initiative to grow organization * Five TBW Hammercross youth were state champions in their respective divisions for CycloCross * We were recipients of the National Park Foundation’s America’s Best Idea grant * We were recipients of a grant of 20 bicycles for our new CycloCross program Ki d i ca l M a ss * TBW youth successfully toured the Mississippi and Arkansas Delta region * We were able to donate 25 bicycles to the Dream Team youth cycling program in Georgia * We launched our youth CycloCross program (one of two in the state) Triangle Bikeworks Annual Report | Page 11
