This page: Historic villas feature
wrap-around verandahs, but they
are generally quite narrow. Here, the
architect created broad walkways,
with the front section deep enough
for a generous outdoor dining area.
While the turned verandah posts and
ornate filigree are reminiscent of
one century, the near-invisible glass
safety pool surround is a decidedly
contemporary inclusion.
