The Michael Ridenour
Advocacy Award
Our friend and board member, Mike Ridenour, passed away last fall after a long battle
with cancer. Mike was a retired Educator in the Campbell County School System and had
served as an Educator for over 21 years. As a long-time member of Professional Educators
of Tennessee’s Board of Directors, he was a tireless advocate for the organization and his
fellow Tennessee educators; the Advocate of the Year award is
now being named in his honor.
The 2017 Michael Ridenour Award for
Advocate of the Year will be presented
to
William Freddy Curtis at
Leader U on June 30th.
