That includes actions or proceedings in the areas of dismissal, tenure, salary, leave of absence, assignment or other professional rights, duties and responsibilities, arising within the scope of your employment. We also defend you against criminal allegations arising out of your professional activities and represent you in all proceedings against you involving the issuance, suspension, cancellation or revocation any credential, life diploma or teacher certification. Our representation of you also includes claims involving alleged violation of civil rights and intentional or negligent sexual misconduct. Professional Educators of Tennessee is not only your advocate but we are your first line of defense in these areas, providing protection, service and support. Our legal and professional staff work tirelessly on your behalf every day.
