DOWEL CENTRE POINTS

WOODEN BISCUITS

Six pack of metal dowel centres that fit into
blind holes to allow lining up of the mating
hole for wooden dowels. Pairs of 6mm, 8mm
and 10mm diameter dowel centres.
Place end of dowel centre into holes
drilled in one piece of wood. Place
second piece of wood in required
position and press to leave centre
mark for the hole.

Biscuit jointing has proven to be one of the strongest, fastest, safest and most
accurate ways to join hardwoods and softwoods, plywood, composition board etc.
Compared to dowelling, biscuit jointing is faster and more precise. The biscuits are
made of die-cut beech which expands when in contact with a woodworking adhesive
eg. PVA glue.

dowel pins. Suitable for joining
chipboard and MDF panels in the
production of cabinet carcasses
and doors. The grooves in the
dowels allow for gluing up. Three
