Eccentric single flute cutters.
l Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when
cutting speed takes preference over finish.
l Cutters with prefix S are Solid Carbide.
! Cutters of 2.0mm diameter and below should
have a maximum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass.
! Small diameter tools must be handled with care to avoid breakage.
! Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.
H These cutters have Solid Carbide inserts rather than brazed tips.

These cutters are turned, milled and ground from a solid
piece of Tungsten Carbide and provide the greatest
durability when used under stress load conditions.
l They offer better plunge cutting characteristics than TCT.
l Many more re-sharpenings can be obtained from STC tools.
l A harder grade of carbide is used as the tool is not brazed.
l Two flute - finer finish.
l Single flute - fast feed rate.
! Single flute cutters should not
be used in eccentric chucks.

INLAY CUTTER

Single and two flute cutters with
extra long shanks.
All the single flute tools & Refs.
3/20L, 3/55L & 3/84L have
recessed shanks to allow deeper
cutting.
Deep grooving, rebating and
mortising.
Useful for template work when thickness of
template restricts depth.
Ref. 3/8L is suitable for use with Trend Hinge
Jigs & Lock Jigs.
Extra care must be taken to avoid breakage.
Take more passes than usual, and only cut up
to half the diameter of the cutter in one pass.
This applies to cutters under 9.5mm diameter.
