AN INTERVIEW WITH MADI REIMER
Social media stragist for a national restaurant chain by day , model and singer by night . Madi showed up on set in an adorable 70s whimsical outfit , grinning from ear to ear . We had the chance to sit down with this whimsical-hearted creative and ask her a few questions .
What are the challenges of having two very different lifestyles ( work and modeling )?
I enjoy mixing things up everyday . However , balancing singing , modeling , work , husband , friends , family , etc . It can get overwhelming at times . Sometimes one area will get less attention than another and that ' s good but I need to balance my priorities , husband , work , everything else . So , if a modeling opportunity comes up on a day where I know I need to be at my job , my job comes first . It is a bummer but I need to be faithful with what ' s keeping me alive !
What inspires you to create ?
Create is such a vast word and means so many different things to me . I create photographs through modeling , I create visuals and a lively atmosphere at work , and I create a home of my own in which I create to feel inspired . Sometimes I get caught up in the competition of " this person did that on instagram and I want to do that too .” Don ' t get sucked down that hole of comparison on Instagram ! I need to remember that my creativity comes from things I see and do , but it is MY choice to develop my own style of how I do things – how I feel in my GUT the way things are supposed to be . I need to stay true to what I like best – whatever my passion and heart is drawn to , then create from there !

Where do you want to go with your career ?
My current job is not my end all career , and modeling is a super fun side project of mine , but also not my goal for everything in life . I want to do a lot of things in my future and continue to have my hands in all sorts of fun activities and jobs where I can connect with people and develop deep relationships because that ’ s what life ’ s about , people ! I ’ m so much more of a people person when it comes to careers . I work hard , but I would rather cry or laugh with a co-worker . I dream of being apart of the music industry with my husband , but most importantly raising up a good family and loving the people around me , doing whatever job I am called to be in .
