T H E F O S H AY TOW E R W MINNEAPOLIS, MN Written by Sami Huerta Relaxing is like a muscle that needs to be practiced. Learning to intentionally let things go, release tension, and clear the clutter from busy minds can be an incredibly challenging task if you’re a busy-bee like me. Lately, I’ve been more intentional about it but when I’m traveling, that always seems to be the last thing on my mind. Typically, when I travel it’s for work, so I really appreciate hotels that allow me to have a relaxing stay, which is why this particular hotel caught my attention. During my stay at the W Minneapolis in the Foshay Tower, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the intentionality of the design, and the overall feel of the hotel. I arrived to doormen smiling at the enterance and eager to help me load my luggage onto a hotel luggage cart. The front desk was awaiting my arrival and promptingly handed me a roomkey, cocktail, and escorted to my suite. I was in complete awe as I walked into the all white room with massive windows flooding the space with natural light. It was a breath of fresh air as I set my things down and started exploring my temporary living space.
