I moved to NYC on a whim. My agent at Arquette Agency in Minneapolis
was bringing some models to New York to place them on the east coast.
I asked my agent if she thought I would make the cut out here. She said
yes and that we would be flying to NYC in September.
Then, at the beginning of July, I was told we would be going to NYC in
two weeks. I finished my last college final and flew to NYC the next day.
I met with several agencies in New York over the course of three days
and was surprised at how many were willing to sign me. I flew home on a
Friday to pack all of my belongings and say goodbye to my family, I was
living in New York 72 hours later. It was all terribly unplanned.
