Kentucky Derby

Once again, the annual Kentucky Derby Party was held at Duffer’s Tavern. Patti and Lindsay were there to greet their guests with the traditional mint julep and a spectacular buffet created by Chef Scott. Everyone had a great time with the hat contest and other activities provided by Duffers staff.

Special Events

Kid's Carnival and Community Yard Sale

Not even the weather could stop our first Community Yard Sale along with our annual Kid’s Carnival. Even though we had to move the entire event indoors at the Lakeview Lodge, the entire building was packed with adults looking for great deals, while the kids enjoyed playing carnival fun. However, the highlight of the day was the “Kid’s Rock n’ Roll Pet Show!” Children were entertained with live music, puppets and even a skateboarding pot belly pig! Who could ask for more!

Summer Kick Off

The pools and beaches were in full swing over the Memorial Day weekend, with the Lakeview Lodge pool seeing over 500 visitors per day. Treasure Lake provided several events for the Memorial weekend including a putting contest at each golf course along with free freeze pops and $1.00 hot dogs. However, Sunday was a day to honor and remember those who served this country both past and present. A Sunday service was held at Caymen followed by Military Color Guard, the Raising of the Flag, and our special guest speaker, Mr. Chuck Huddy, who has served this country in both war and peace.

Breakfast with the

Easter Bunny

We could not have asked for a nicer day at the Lakeview Lodge on Saturday, April 4th for our Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. The morning was filled with lots of activity for the kids, a chance to sit on the Easter Bunny’s lap, and the annual egg hunt

Wine Walk

Treasure Lake’s first Wine Walk was held April 25th at the Cayman Cabins with six local wineries participating as

well as several vendors. The day was a great success with people enjoying wine, food and music by Bill Smith as

well as the “Stickers.” Mark your calendars for next year’s Wine Walk.
