Introducing Damian Bouch

Looking for a good book to keep you warm during this Pennsylvania winter? Local talent may have a solution for you!

Damian Bouch, a Treasure Lake resident since 2005 and DAHS graduate, has published a novel, The Onus of Man. The Onus of Man, a modern coming-of-age story inspired by Dickens' timeless Great Expectations, is a popular book among readers, not only in the DuBois area but also abroad. It has also received attention from Aaron Clarey of the Captain Capitalism blog and Chris Duane of the Silver Shield Group. Amazon.com user reviews have described as "a solid first book for the author " and "a very insightful read."

Damian has appeared on Cover to Cover, a television and internet segment, filmed at The Kinetic of DuBois, which interviews authors. The Onus of Man is available on Amazon.com and at Rosie's Book Shoppe on Midway Drive.

He is in the process of publishing his second novel, No Delight In Fools. This story is about four people adapting to live in the aftermath of an unprecedented global economic collapse.

The author began working at Treasure Lake, where he is now Assistant Manager of the Marina, shortly prior to his graduation from Penn State. You can find him at the Marina during the summer season when you need to fill your bait bucket or your gas tank!
