The past few weeks have brought us a bitter and chilling winter. Have you caught yourself indoors more? Most likely... I know I have been staying inside bundled up. You might notice yourself on your computer more often. Here are a few tips to help maintain your machine so you can spend less time waiting and more time surfing! Regular computer maintenance should be done every 3 to 6 months to keep your machine running at the best of it's abilities. TIPS

1) Remove unwanted/unused programs. These programs are only taking up space and slowing down your machine.

2) Make sure you have an up-to-date anti-virus on your machine to help block those nasty viruses.

3) Run a virus scan. If you're getting unwanted popups and your computer is acting 'weird' there is a good chance your computer has been infected.

4) Run Windows Updates. This allows your machine to stay up to date on security updates and patches.

5) Clean up old files, empty your recycle bin, delete temporary files and cookies.
