Security

Terry A. Kline, Chief of Security

We at Treasure Lake Security would like to remind all members and guests in regards to back gate protocol. When using the rear gate card, it can not be used again for a period of fifteen minutes as the rear gate has a delayed feature on it. Remember, you are not permitted to let other members, or guests in the back gate. Guests are ONLY permitted to come through the front gate after being correctly called in.

Keep in mind that Security has cameras at the rear gate. Iif we observe you using your back gate card to allow anyone in to Treasure Lake, you will receive a citation via registered mail. The fine is $300 and after the third offense, you will lose your back gate privileges. There are signs posted at the rear gate indicating these penalties and procedures. I know it is tempting to help some one get in the back gate. However, you have no idea whether the person does in fact belong in Treasure Lake, or is in good standing. Also their back gate privileges may have been suspended.

Security Officers at the front gate have the ability to deny your card from being used when you use it improperly. Please cooperate with Treasure Lake Security in this manner as we want to make Treasure Lake a more secure and safe community

Garage Sales

Weekend garage sale permits, including the three official garage sale signs, can be purchased at the TLPOA office for $10. Extra signs are $1 each. Permits are available Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the POA office. Sales can be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This summer, sales are prohibitaed on the holiday weekends of the 4th of July and Labor Day. There is a limit of two sales per residence per year. Only Treasure Lake-issued signs can be displayed in the community, and they must be removed by noon on the Monday after the sale. State law prohibits signs from being mounted on utility poles.
