Spring has sprung! It certainly has been a crazy winter that has us all chomping at the bit to enjoy the beauty that is Cayman Landing.

Dumpster and I attended the Pennsylvania Adventure RV Expo at the end of February. It was another great event with a lot of people interested in visiting Treasure Lake. This year, we look forward to seeing the many regular visitors and some new faces.

The Cayman Wine Walk will kick things off on Saturday, April 25th at the Cayman Cabins. Several area wineries will be represented. It will be a great day to taste these wonderful wines, along with great food and great music by the country band “The Stickers.” You can find more information on the TLPOA website and on our Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased by calling the TLPOA main office at (814) 371-0711.

Another great Memorial Day weekend is being finalized. We will have our annual Memorial Day ceremony and a day of fun is set for Sunday, May 24th.

The Recreation Committee and the Cayman Camper’s Club have a full slate of activities planned for the summer. The Ice Cream Shack and the pool will also be open for the Memorial Day weekend.

Folks are booking their vacations fast. Give us a call at (814) 913-1437 and we’ll be happy to help set up a great stay here at Cayman Landing.

I want to personally thank the many folks that help out with the campground. You’re work behind the scenes makes a huge difference and I look forward to working with you all again this season.

Mother Nature’s wrath of winter is behind us and we can now look forward to a great season at Cayman Landing – “the true Treasure of Treasure Lake.”
