The Treasure Lake Property Owners Association will host The National Multiple

Sclerosis Societies, Walk MS DuBois for the 21st year on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at

the Lakeview Lodge and Conference Center.

The registration tables will be set up on two levels this year to ease the congestion in

the lower lobby. Registration begins at 1:00pm and the walk starts at 2:00pm. DuBois

mayor, Herm Saplizio will kick off the walk.

Walk MS DuBois has grown to 416 walkers and raised over $22,500 last year. We are

preparing to break those records this year with the support of all our donors,

volunteers and participants. We have asked our past donors to participate this year

and many have said that they will. We can expect great pizza from George Moore and

the Ski Lodge, Nate Benton has once again offered Bucks wonderful Pizza. New this

year, James Brown with Treasure Lake’s One Stop, will supply their pizza to the event.

Many donors in St. Mary’s give us raffle baskets and sub sandwiches for our walkers.

This year our own Lakeview Lodge will be treating us with Chef Dan Miller’s choice.

Wal-Mart will again supply our bottled water, Sheetz will supply sports drinks, and Pepsi of St Mary's will supply tea and soda selections.

The banner program is available for businesses. The vinyl all-weather banners are 29” X 52” and advertise the business’s logo. They are displayed the week prior to the walk in downtown DuBois and then are hung at the walk-site the day of the event. Contact co-chairmen, Julie Buttrill 814-590-4102 or Heather Dodd 814-501-6748 for more information. We would like to invite new and returning participants to contact walkMS.org or call 1-800-FIGHT-MS to register, or come by the POA office to pick up a mail in registration form.
