Cayman Landing News

Spring has sprung!

The start of our season is upon us and believe me it hasn't come soon enough. I think campers and residents will find a breath of fresh air running through Cayman Landing this season.

I can't stress enough how important real dialogue and the sharing of ideas and concerns has meant to me. We continue to be proactive through the efforts of the Cayman Committee and your visits to the office. Our baby steps are turning into strides that will make Cayman Landing a highlight of Treasure Lake and all that it offers.

We willl be kicking off the season with a wonderful Memorial Day Ceremony at the Cayman Lodge - Sunday May 25th. We hope to see many there as we

commemorate those who have fought and died for our country. You will be touched and proud to be an American!

We have many activities planned and we will keep you updated. Please check out our Facebook page Cayman Landing at Treasure Lake to find daily updates. We would love to see you help contribute.

Cayman Landing was well represented at the Pennsylvania Adventure RV Expo in Altoona Feb. 27 through March 2. We saw many familiar faces and met hundreds of folks that are very interested in visiting Treasure Lake.

"Dumpster" the Bear is now out and about. Pay close attention to where he is and what he's up to (more details to come).

You will be seeing areas of the campground being repaired. While this may be an inconvenience it is a very neccessary step as we continue to move towards the future.

You will see new looks at the Cayman office and the Ice Cream Shack. We believe you will enjoy not only the atmosphere, but the wonderful treats and such that we will have to offer.

This is my 3rd season at Cayman Landing. I am a firm believer in looking towards the future and learning from the past. I can say that Molly and myself are looking forward to providing you with an excellent experience and great memories.

We will be hosting "Meet the Cayman Manager" - monthly starting April 26. I am very much looking forward to sharing ideas and information with all of you! Cayman Office - 814-913-1437
