Let's begin, here's a general guide to obtaining a VISA for Russia: 1. There are countries that citizens can enter Russia without a visa, for example; Brazil, South Korea, South Africa and approximately 15-20 more. If you are lucky to live in a country that doesn't need a visa then most likely you already know. 2. Unfortunately, most countries, including all of Europe, UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, need a visa to enter Russia. A standard tourist visa is 30 days long, and can be sin- gle or double entry. With the USA there's an exception, there's the standard tourist visa for 30 days or there's also a 3 year visa. But that is the only such exception that we know of. If you need more than 30 days for your trip the most common way is to apply for a business visa, this can be 90 days, 180 days, 365 days and even 3-5 years, single, double or multiple entrance is allowed. There are many other types of visa, but they're gener- ally not applicable to motorcycle travelling. Everybody uses either a tourist or business visa.
