EDITORIAL TRAVERSE: And Now For Something Completely Different T RAVERSE continues to go from APOLOGY strength to strength, and that's all thanks to you; our readers and our contributors. Thank you! Since the last issue our small team have had the pleasure of road testing a Suzuki V-Strom 1000. It's a bike that surprises in so many ways. We also tagged along on one of the best manufacturer based adventure rides around, the Suzuki Adventure Weekend in the Bathurst area of New South Wales, Australia. Thanks must go to Lewis, Matt and the team at Suzuki Motorcycles Australia. In this issue we have the usual great stories of travel and experience from all over the world, including something very special from someone who once said to me that riding a motorcycle was dangerous. Paul Pritchard, a climber of note, rides from Australia's lowest point to the highest on two wheels of sort. It's not motorcycles, but is two wheeled adventure and when you read Paul's story you'll understand why we published it. It's a great read! We have the usual reviews, books, bikes and gear that will make any long distance ride a little more comfortable. TRAVERSE 5 In the previous issue of TRAVERSE we made two errors; unfortunately not crediting photographers for their outstanding work. We apologise deeply to both Viv Canini and Michnus Olivier who we failed to credit for their work. Viv's work accompanied the India travel feature titled Distinguished ..., while Michnus' work was with the Colombia travel feature; Perfect For Pasty Poms. The work and adventure's of both Viv and Michnus are well worth checking out. The images below carry links to their sites and work. Now, read on, and enjoy the ride ... Leigh
