Many describe London as a hub of grey suits rush- ing around in a blur. As time marches on some of its more significant sites have fallen prey to mass consumerism, Starbucks appear on every street cor- ner. But, the one thing I truly love about London is the colourful gems hid- den in the most unlikely of places. This particular pic- ture was takeen in the ‘No- madic Community Gar- dens.’ A once derelict site that was transformed into an artist’s paradise, street art and sculptures litter the space. It was during one summertime I came across some musicians casually lazing around on the couches in the centre of the gadens. One par- ticularly beautiful wom- an seemed to fit perfectly with the bohemian vibes and artistic surroundings. It was in one perfect mo- ment I managed to cap- ture her face in slight con- centration as she casually strummed the strings of her guitar, never have I seen someone who be- longed in a place quite as much as this woman did. | Page 7 Page 8 |
